Robotics Trainer (with Drone Applications)
Job Description:
The Robotics Trainer, specializing in Drone Applications, will play a pivotal role in educating both students and professionals on robotics, automation, and drone technology. This individual must possess a strong foundation in programming, electronics, and drone operations, coupled with exceptional communication skills to effectively deliver comprehensive training programs.
Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate(s) will be entrusted with the following key responsibilities:
- Delivering STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), Robotics, and Embedded Technologies education to school students, with a focus on drone applications and operations.
- Cultivating an interactive learning environment by actively involving students in hands-on learning experiences using educational kits or platforms such as LEGO, Arduino, and MIT App Inventor, while integrating drone technology.
- Spearheading the development of new and innovative platforms (both hardware and software) utilizing cutting-edge technologies like IoT (Internet of Things), A.I. (Artificial Intelligence), and M.L. (Machine Learning) to enhance teaching/training methodologies, with a specific emphasis on drone applications.
- Integrating robotics, automation, and drone technology with peripheral devices including sensors, controllers, microprocessors, and other equipment to provide holistic learning experiences.
- Remaining abreast of emerging trends in technology, particularly in the field of drones, and swiftly incorporating them into the curriculum to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- Proficiency in Embedded C Programming and working knowledge of Arduino Boards, with additional expertise in drone programming and operation.
- Sound understanding of Embedded Systems, Circuit Design principles, and practical experience in drone operations.
- Willingness to adapt and learn newer platforms, coupled with a passion for engaging in hands-on activities with a variety of educational tools, including drones.
- Mastery over design thinking methodologies and adeptness in troubleshooting technical challenges, particularly in the context of drone applications.
- Self-motivated individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong critical thinking abilities will be highly valued, especially those with a keen interest in advancing drone technology education.
