Research assistant for Spatial Data Collection and Data Management

    he position is related to Daisy’s activities within collecting and handling of GPS and CAN-bus data. The candidate must have a background within computer science or closely related areas.

    A master or PhD degree is preferred.The position is related to the collection of GPS and CAN-bus data where Daisy has an app for collection high-

    frequency GPS data from both iOS and Android devices. An important part of handling GPS data is the map-matching of the data to a digital roadmap.

    The map-matched data provide the core data foundation for most of the analyses done.The candidate should ideally have the following background.

    A master degree or higher within computer science or closely related fieldA record of publishing research papers within the spatial data-

    management areaExperience in developing with iOS / Android apps. Preferable in C#.Experience in analysis of GPS / CAN-bus dataExperience with PostgreSQL, PostGIS, C#, ASP.
