Intro And Job Overview

The EnterWorks MDM Technology Consultant works with our customers to deliver effective Master Data Management solutions and to help them leverage technology to deliver high quality, complete and consistent master data as the foundation for achieving the goals of their data integrity strategy. We are looking for a Technology Consultant that wants to be a part of our growing data integrity professional services practice. Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and the ability to take direction and work independently are extremely important.

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Participate in requirements gathering sessions to understand system and non-functional requirements for MDM projects.
  • Provide technology consulting and implement EnterWorks MDM solutions.
  • Utilize best practices, reusable components and solution accelerators in EnterWorks MDM implementations.
  • Document systems, data sources and transformation requirements for effective enterprise data modeling
  • Document future state architecture
  • Build and implement business processes and governance models that help clients achieve business objectives.
  • Help clients develop and implement Data Quality Management practices and tools
  • Works with Project Manager (PM) regarding scope, tasks, and resourcing
  • Configure MDM software to meet client requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues
  • Conducts internal, partner and customer training
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, engineering or information management
  • Understanding of master data management concepts and best practices such as data modelling, data integration, data governance/quality, data architecture, project life cycle phases, best practices and processes.
  • Experience gathering requirements
  • Experience extending an application using SQL and/or Java script
  • Familiarity with XML
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills with the ability to clearly and effectively document solution to be understood by technical and non-technical people
  • Detailed and process oriented
  • Enjoys working on cross functional teams
  • Enjoys working with clients face to face
  • Enjoys working with technology
  • A desire to constantly grow and learn
  • Willing to travel: 30%
