We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources department for recruiting top talent in high impact roles of the organization. Talent Acquisition responsibilities include sourcing candidates through various channels, planning interview and selection procedures and hosting or participating in career events. To be successful in this role, you should be able to develop long-term recruiting strategies, nurture trusting relationships with potential hires and create strong talent pipelines for our company’s current and future hiring needs. This is an individual contributor role based at Esri India headquarters in Noida and shall report to the CHRO.


  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, Determine selection criteria, Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements
  • Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
  • Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews, Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process; Lead employer branding initiatives; Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs by department
  • Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent, study and benchmark with industry trends and best practices regularly
  • Analyse recruitment data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment efforts and identify areas for improvement.


Desired Skillset:


  • Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role preferably in the GIS industry
  • Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods ; strong ability to assess behavioural competencies and attitudes of candidates
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations
  • Master's degree in Human Resources Manangement from tier 1 or tier 2 b-school
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Willingness to quickly learn and adhere to established organizational processes
