Job Overview

As a Sr. Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to end supply chain processes to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to industry regulations. You will play a pivotal role in d riving operational excellence, fostering strategic partnerships, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance the overall supply chain performance. Key


Strategic Planning:

 Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.

 Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure that the supply chain strategy supports business growth and profitability targets.

Operational Excellence

 Oversee all aspects of supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.

 Implement best practices to optimize processes, reduce lead times, and enhance overall efficiency.

 Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and quality requirements.

Supplier Management

 Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.

 Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions.

 Continuously evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Risk Management:

 Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them.

 Implement contingency plans to address disruptions and ensure continuity of operations.

Technology Integration

 Evaluate and implement cutting-edge technologies to enhance supply chain visibility, accuracy, and efficiency.

 Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in supply chain technology.

Team Leadership

 Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing supply chain team.

 Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.

Cost Management

 Develop and manage the supply chain budget, identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or reliability.

 Conduct regular cost analyses and implement strategies to optimize expenses.

Continuous Improvement

 Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the supply chain, utilizing data-driven insights and key performance indicators.

 Encourage a culture of innovation and proactively seek opportunities for process optimization.


 Should have 15- 20 years of overall experience in SCM of which the last 10+ years in heading the SCM function in a fast-growing medium scale organization, preferably from within the Aerospace / Automation industry.

 Should have managed a team of functional experts within the SCM team.

 Should have good experience in Global Sourcing, including working with global vendors, well travelled, and exposed to the global sourcing environment.

 Should have negotiated and have signed off on sourcing contracts with large OEMs.

 Working exposure on govt tenders, infrastructure, etc. as an add on experience.

 Good experience with Electrical, Electronic and Mechanical component souring.

 Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

 Familiarity with advanced supply chain technologies and data analytics.


 Bachelor’s / master’s degree in engineering.

 Any relevant education in supply chain management, material management, or a related field is a plus.
