The impact you’ll make

  • You will help manage our global internal channels, curating global communications aimed at engaging 3,700 TomTom’ers worldwide
  • You will drive employee communications, empowering TomTom’ers everywhere to make their voice heard and connect to one another
  • You will advise your stakeholders (employees, local teams, departments and senior leadership) on how to communicate most effectively and consistently across the organization
  • You will lead global (big and small) projects, programs, events, initiatives, and campaigns
  • You will contribute to shaping our world-class employee experience through engagement activities
  • You will use measurements and analytics to understand and continuously improve our communications
  • You will be part of the Internal Communications team; the voice for TomTom’s people. From the biggest strategic updates to a little get-together, we keep TomTom’ers up-to-date on everything that’s going on with the company. We work closely with TomTom’s leaders to make sure that TomTom’ers know exactly what they’re working towards and how it’ll help change the world of mapmaking.

What You’ll Need

  • You have at least five years of experience and proven success in Internal Communications roles
  • You are a natural storyteller and know how to write the perfect call to action
  • You are a quick and thorough thinker! Things move rapidly at TomTom, so you’ll only be successful if you have great project and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and pivot fast
  • You listen – as you will be liaising with many different stakeholders, we need someone who understands and takes into consideration different perspectives
  • You prioritize and action accordingly, ensuring the essential, business-critical, and impactful messages land
  • You are customer-obsessed. We are here to delight our current employees - their engagement is our leading priority
  • You make decisions based on insights
  • You understand what a 360-communication journey means – and know-how to leverage multiple touchpoints, internally (Intranet, internal social network, email, etc.)
  • You have a strong affinity for technology, and knowledge of TomTom’s tech
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset (you are action orientated, and solution-driven) and a proven ability to develop creative and innovative approaches to communicating with people and attracting talent
