What's the role?

We are looking for a self-driven and highly collaborative ( Sr. ) Account Executive with knowledge of last and middle mile delivery solutions , and proven business-to-business sales and account management experience.

In this role , you will develop and execute a winning sales strategy for your assigned territory in the Transportation & Logistics Industry across UK&Ireland and the Nordics. The role is based out of our London office.

Your success in this hunting role hinges on your ability to engage with net new customers, articulate value, inspire, and effectively sell the HERE Application Portfolio to Senior Supply Chain and IT Executives. Serving the industry as a trusted advisor, you will leverage your expertise in logistics operations, route optimization , and location technology to align customer needs seamlessly with the capabilities of HERE. This strategic alignment will not only enable you to generate significant new business for HERE but also position you as a key driver in navigating and addressing the complex challenges within the industry. Together with a highly passionate team of HERE industry and solution experts, and a growing portfolio of 3 rd party software propositions , you will reach ambitious growth targets in Europe and lead the virtual deal team to win new customers for HERE.

Your Impact

  • Strategize and execute annual business plans tailored for the assigned territory, focusing on strategies to acquire new customers and drive revenue growth for HERE’s application portfolio .
  • Consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets by selling compelling value propositions and establishing long-term collaborative partnerships with new clients.
  • Cultivate deep customer engagement with potential customers by building and nurturing executive-level relationships, particularly at the C-level. Align HERE's leadership with the client's operational efficiency targets , generate excitement, and win net new logo accounts for a defined portfolio . Collaborate with the team to construct persuasive business cases and successfully close deals.
  • Leverage a comprehensive understanding of HERE's relative strengths to address operational challenges within the t ransportation and logistics (T&L) industry. Identify low-hanging fruit s and strategic account targets, steering the sales team towards a value-focused approach to secure substantial deals.
  • Champion cross-functional collaboration to drive synergy and success across pre-sales, customer success, professional services, product management, licensing & business operations, legal, revenue marketing, and channel partners.
  • D emonstrate excellence in execution by ensuring meticulous business planning, accurate sales forecasting, and detailed reporting through SFDC (Salesforce).
  • Attain and maintain trusted advisor status within the target industry grounded in profound industry , process, and product knowledge, to drive continued business success.

  • Over 5 years of business-to-business sales expertise , with a consistent track record of surpassing bookings and revenue quotas for complex software or SaaS solutions from at least one of the following segments: Postal / CEP, O n-demand D elivery or T ransportation, large fleet operators, r etail across Europe in comparable settings.
  • Demonstrated success with 5+ years of expertise in acquiring new enterprise accounts, specializing in Transport and Lo gistics , Transportation Management, Route Optimization for Last & Middle Mile, Logistics Operations, Driver Navigation , and digital solutions to adjacent location-heavy use cases
  • Working experience in logistics operations is a strong plus.
  • Proficient in developing and presenting impactful business cases, emphasizing time to value and return on investment, accompanied by strong executive-level written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and successfully develop new territories from scratch, close large complex deals (> € 250k ARR ), intricate SaaS , and services transactions, engaging diverse buying centres from developers to C-Level executives.
  • Proven capability to lead and motivate a virtual winning team, collaborating with industry experts, technical pre-sales, product management, commercial support resources, and HERE management.
  • Adaptable to a rapidly changing, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a consistent track record of delivering results.
  • Independent and effective time manager with a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in leveraging defined sales processes and systems, including MS Office and SFDC.
  • Possesses an extensive and reliable network of decision-makers within the assigned territory
  • Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and oral;
