Feedback and Resolution is a part of Maps Platform organisation that is building the future of TomTom maps based on cutting-edge technologies and architecture. F&R teams are responsible for Feedback Data Plane that collects feedback and issues about map data from customers and internal quality checks, and for map editing tools that allow editors to resolve those issues and update the map. Additionally, we also are responsible for work orchestration and task management tools for manual map editing at scale and self-service Management Console for Maps Platform.

What You'll Do

  • Help support the goal of building better, faster and more cost-efficient digital maps
  • As part of our team, you will be responsible for creating and developing a platform used to produce digital maps
  • Improve the experience of customers and internal key stakeholders
  • Exchange knowledge with our talented engineers globally and solve a wide range of challenging issues
  • Work within a team responsible for the design, development and operational support for several key components end-to-end.
  • Work in close cross-functional collaboration with Product Managers and Designers
  • Work with the latest native cloud technology to solve challenges of map making world
  • Work independently and as a member of a team, to implement a shared vision of the product
  • Learn and expand your knowledge about geo-spatial industry and map-making domain, and continuously improve & expand your skills
  • Work in the teams that pay attention to high code quality and engineering standards

What You'll Need

  • Experience in Front End development
  • Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript
  • Experience with CI/CD tools
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Willingness to work in distributed team
  • Problem solving skills

Nice to have

  • Experience with Front End frameworks (React, Tailwind CSS, D3.js, Storybook), testing (Jest + Cypress)
  • Experience with Back End development, data structures and databases (relational and not relational), high throughput systems, authentication & authorisation and resilience will be an added advantage
  • Experience in Cloud (Azure, AWS), K8S and Kafka
  • GIS Background
  • Experience with Grafana stack
  • Work experience with SQL queries
  • Experience with gRPC
