EDR is seeking versatile, team-oriented candidates to join our Environmental Services group.

Qualified Senior Environmental Analysts will have:


  • At least 7 years of experience in environmental resource studies, impact analysis, and permitting with an understanding of various state and local permitting regulations and requirements; specifically in Pennsylvania, but also New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of permitting processes with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (e.g., Chapter 105, NPDES), county conservation districts (e.g., E&S Control Plans), and local municipalities (e.g., subdivision and land development ordinances [SALDO] and other ordinances governing site development).
  • Experience with relevant federal permitting requirements such as wetland regulations, threatened and endangered species regulations, and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) is preferred.


This position requires:

  • Strong technical writing and task management skills, including an ability to oversee the production of resource studies and permit applications, coordinate with, and delegate tasks to, internal co-workers, and consult with clients, permitting attorneys, and regulatory agency personnel.
  • An ability to technically and professionally represent EDR at project specific meetings and professional conferences.
  • A minimum BS degree in environmental science, natural resources, biology, ecology, or related field.


The anticipated base pay range of $60,000-$85,000 per year is commensurate with experience. EDR reserves the right to pay outside of the target range based on an individual’s education, credentials, skill level and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity, geographic location, and business needs.
