Job description

We are looking for a person who enjoys challenges and excels in a dynamic, international environment for the position of (Senior) Accountant for our office in Warsaw, however person will be mainly dedicated to Danish legal entity.

  • Maintaining accounting records and reconciling them with general ledger accounts, participating in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing – full accounting,
  • Preparation of analyses, reports, monthly balances, income statements for internal purposes and for external institutions, including for the needs of the Central Statistical Office (GUS) and the National Bank of Poland (NBP),
  • Active participation in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with the Accounting Act as well as International Financial Reporting Standards,
  • Cooperation with external auditors and tax authorities,
  • Timely reporting according to group standards (BPC, OneStream),
  • Preparation of VAT declarations (JPK) and CIT - responsibility for the correctness and timeliness of settlements (deferred tax calculation),
  • Analysis and preparation of WHT declarations (IFT, CIT-10Z),
  • Assistance in preparing transfer pricing documentation (TPR, CBC-P),
  • Monitoring changes in tax and financial regulations and adjusting procedures in the Company accordingly,
  • Optimization of accounting process efficiency,
  • Supporting superiors and the team in current matters.

Job requirements

  • Higher education in economics (finance/accounting),
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position – full accounting,
  • Proficiency in English at the level of fluent communication (B2),
  • Practical knowledge of ERP systems and BI tools, Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred,
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel and other financial tools,
  • Excellent practical knowledge of accounting and tax issues,
  • Experience in working with IFRS will be an additional asset,
  • Good organizational and analytical skills,
