Your responsibilities

  • Active participation in the development of breakthrough optoelectronic technologies on a European scale, focusing on quantum technologies and ground systems for the space industry;
  • Technical coordination of projects in the field of Measurement Equipment and Quantum Technologies in close collaboration with the Project Manager;
  • Definition of requirements and system architecture for the entire system and subsystems to meet customer requirements;
  • Preparation of trade-off analyses, selection of optimal design solutions;
  • Supervision of project documentation;
  • Reporting and participation in working meetings with project partners and leading scientific centers in Poland and other European countries;
  • Support for the team of engineers with your expert opinions – project and engineering solution consultations;
  • Support for the Sales and Business Development team – technical input for proposals, preparation of offers.

Our requirements:

  • Good knowledge of electronics (knowledge of FPGA and embedded software welcome);
  • Experience in at least one of the following areas: telecommunications, cryptography, control and measurement systems, IoT, scientific or industrial cameras;
  • Ability to manage system requirements;
  • Familiarity with systems engineering (ISO/ECSS/INCOSE, etc.);
  • Experience in creating and developing project documentation;
  • Ability to work independently and also as a part of team;
  • Logical thinking and creativity in developing solutions to problems encountered;
  • Ability to work under time pressure;
  • Very good knowledge of English.

Highly appreciated knowledge of:

  • Issues in optical systems (cameras, detectors, optoelectronics, integrated photonics);
  • Construction and operation of quantum systems (computers, key transfer);
  • The Sinara/ARTIQ ecosystem for quantum physics;
  • And experience in team management.
