Job Role : Senior Engineer II - Embedded Hardware


  • Expertise in leading projects and extensive experience throughout the PCB design lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in utilizing industry-standard PCB design software, including but not limited to Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, PADS, and Ki CAD.
  • Creating and maintaining Symbol and Footprint Libraries in accordance with IPC 7351 and 7251 standards.
  • Analysing input data and providing accurate time estimates for PCB design tasks.
  • Schematic analysis and capture, net-list generation, Bill of Materials (BOM) generation, and verification.
  • Defining board outlines, creating Mechanical DXF/DWG files, and generating 3D step files.
  • PCB layout design, encompassing component placement, constraint setting, layer stackup, fan-out, routing, split planning, length matching, Design Rule Check (DRC), and Gerber file preparation.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge in EDA tools like Altium, ORCAD, CADENCE or similar. Altium Designer is preferred.
  • Proficiency in working with microprocessors and microcontrollers.
  • Exceptional knowledge of Signal Protocols, including RS232, RS485, I2C, CAN, LVDS, and similar communication standards.
  • In-depth understanding of Communication Protocols, encompassing USB, Ethernet, HDMI, and Wi-Fi, among others.
  • Familiarity with signal integrity (SI) principles to minimize signal interference, crosstalk, and ensure proper impedance matching.
  • Experience in Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) design, as well as adhering to IPC standards.
  • Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) guidelines to ensure cost-effective and manufacturable PCB designs.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in generating and maintaining design/testing documentation and optimizing Bill of Materials (BOM) for efficiency.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in creating proposals and conducting schedule and effort analysis.


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in hardware PCB design and development.
