As our Pricing Analyst, you’ll be responsible to define our monetization models and develop pricing methods for our products. Your goal will be to enable the commercial success of our sales teams, in such a way we capture a fair share of the value our products deliver to our customers.

The impact you'll make

  • Early on, you’ll take ownership of a number of product / use case combinations, to analyze commercial results to or update their pricing models, and work with sales support staff to publish them (internally and to our third party partners). You’ll also work with sales managers to apply these models to concrete deal opportunities
  • Gradually you'll expand your understanding and insight in our business, allowing you to increase your tangible financial impact and leading you to taking on increasingly complex customer proposals and commercial constructs
  • We’ll be curious to see if you can already contribute “Software as a Service” approaches or ideas you picked up elsewhere. If so, we strongly encourage you to share those so we can all learn together
  • Once you have a broad and deep grasp of our business, you’ll pick up responsibility at a more strategic level. This will require you collaborate with many other TomTom teams Product Marketing, Finance and Sales Analytics, Sales Enablement, senior leadership and Sales and Bid Managers

What You'll Need

  • Strong experience in a SaaS B2B environment
  • Degree in Economics, Finance or Engineering, MBA preferred but not required
  • A strong desire to take initiative and proactively push things forward
  • Endless curiosity and excellent analytical skills, and the ability to synthesize diverse opinions and sources of information from a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Commercially savvy business acumen, common sense, and interpersonal skills to practically apply this expertise to real-world situations.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a pricing or similar role
  • The ability to present ideas and concepts clearly and concisely
  • A successful Pricing Analyst has the mental agility to reconcile the often conflicting requirements of good Governance (minimizing the risks of the company), compelling commercial offerings (winning the business versus highly skilled and motivated competitors), and being easy to work with
