Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Planner/Landscape Architect) for our Planning Discipline to be located in CT (CED Office and/or Remote). A minimum of 10 years of diverse experience with project types including but not limited to: site reuse planning, corridor studies, areawide master planning, Plans of Conservation and Development (POCDs), zoning, affordable housing, resiliency planning, public engagement, and urban design. Project management experience required.

Planning has been a core practice at Colliers Engineering & Design for more than a decade. Our award-winning, nationally-recognized team of professional planners, landscape architects, civic engagement specialists, GIS analysts and environmental scientists works with communities to develop plans and designs that are creative, well-rounded, thoughtful and realistic.


  • Working within a team framework, as well as independently, on a wide range of project types and applications, both public and private, focusing on mixed-use, residential and commercial projects.
  • Preparation of due diligence reports, applications, land use justifications and project narratives.
  • Collaboration with multiple disciplines within Colliers Engineering & Design in pursuit of entitlement efforts in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Attendance and representation of projects at stakeholder meetings and public hearings.


  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in community planning, comprehensive master planning, zoning, affordable housing, resiliency planning, and/or urban design.
  • Master’s degree in Planning and/or Landscape Architecture.
  • AICP Certification required.
  • Experience with a variety of document preparation and graphic design programs is a plus including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, SketchUp, Lumion, AutoCAD and others.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills required.
  • Ability to manage projects, project teams, and clients.
  • Successful track record in developing new clients, writing proposals and business development.
