What you'll be doing

You assume responsibility for all people endeavours. Given our transition from startup to scale-up, this calls for flexibility as well as prioritising your workload, so you need to leverage all of your experience and skills to maximise your impact. You ensure PlanBlue becomes a true employer of choice, by designing and delivering on our People & Culture plan. With your creativity and great people skills, you will take the employee experience to the next level.

On a day-to-day basis this means you will:

  • Define and execute scalable HR policies and programs to support our business goals and growth trajectory.
  • Cultivate an environment that encourages employee engagement, well-being, and professional growth.
  • Lead all aspects of talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategies. Craft innovative approaches to attract and retain diverse, top talent from around the globe.
  • Coordinate & facilitate our onboarding activities, ensuring a welcoming, fun & informative experience for new joiners.
  • Act as go-to person for all HR related questions.
  • Oversee our employee administration, HR operations, employment contracts, and policy development.
  • Guide us in diversity & inclusion - we pride ourselves for our diverse team and actively work on inclusivity. You’ll play a leading role in this important part of our culture.

What you bring

  • Previous experience in a similar people related (HR) role.
  • Fluency in English - you love to write appealing content and like presenting our company. Basic skills in German are also required.
  • The ability to truly connect with our employees: you know what makes people tick, and how to foster a culture that encourages engagement, well-being, and professional growth.
  • A self-organised work attitude that fits perfectly in a fluid environment (here, change is the only constant!).
