We provide a significant contribution to the most major Space programs of the European Space Agency. Our core business is to work on the ground to build bridges into space, contributing to the success of ambitious missions.

In the frame of Galileo programme, Telespazio Belgium is involved in some activities aimed at the definition and design of the 2nd Generation of the system. Telespazio Belgium is looking for a Navigation Systems Engineer working on Galileo 2nd Generation at ESTEC in Noordwijk (NL).

What is expected from you:

  • Interface with ESA and other contractor companies for technical matters.
  • Support the development and design of security architectures for space systems, specifically for Galileo 2nd Generation.
  • Contribute to the definition, analysis, and consolidation of system security requirements.
  • Support system reviews through projects’ lifecycle on security aspects.
  • Elaboration of technical and contractual documentation (DCN/DCP, RFW/RFD, DDF, DJF, IRDs, etc).
  • Plan and follow tasks in a structured and pre-agreed manner with managers and stakeholders.
  • Work in an international team and in cooperation with system engineering and security experts.

What you offer:

The candidate must be eligible for EU security clearance.

  • Master’s degree in telecommunications, cybersecurity, aerospace or other related engineering and science disciplines.
  • Knowledge and experience in space systems and ground systems architecture, Galileo experience is an asset.
  • Good knowledge in key management, network protocols, and security-related technologies.
  • Knowledge of MBSE tools (e.g., Capella) and methodologies is a must.
  • A Scaled Agile certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of DOORS and requirements management is an asset.
  • Eligible for security clearance from their national security administration.
  • Proficient in English, speaking other European languages is an asset.

You will be working within ESTEC, the European Space Agency’s offices in the Netherlands as a contractor for Telespazio Belgium. We don’t expect the employees to be on-site full time however you will still have to relocate to the Netherlands for this position .
