Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing all activities necessary to maximize the business results from AccuWeather’s growth plans. This includes coordinating marketing and sales planning tactics including but not limited to email, digital (SEO/SEM, Landing Pages, Blogs, Social Media, Advertisements), Public Relations, National and Regional Tradeshows, Customer Networking Activities, and Conferences. The individual is an important contributor to the business, ensuring the AccuWeather brand is best represented. The individual will interface with team members across the company, including Marketing, Sales, Creative, Product, and more.

This position will be hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days remote) in our State College, PA facility.

Position Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Content Marketing Manager, Lead Generation Marketing Manager, and other members of the Marketing and Sales Team to ensure efficient and effective execution of key marketing and sales tactics.
  • Collaborate with Senior Leaders, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure that tactics are coordinated in a manner consistent with AccuWeather’s overall goals/objectives and other relevant growth tactics.
  • Develop a strong familiarity with AccuWeather businesses, products, positioning, and sales tools.
  • Develop and execute an overall trade association/ trade show plan; report progress and seek assistance as needed.
  • Assist other marketing and sales managers with coordination of activities to ensure all tactics are linked together and tracked to ensure the highest individual and overall ROI possible.
    • Support coordination of online (landing pages, SEO adwords, Blogs, etc) and offline (email campaigns, sales material development, etc) activities
  • Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications

  • 4 year marketing degree or equivalent job experience
  • This position requires a detail-oriented, self-starter with the ability to deliver results and coordinate efforts across departments
  • Ability to prioritize, and effectively deliver multiple programs in a timely manner, while remaining professional and keeping to deadlines and budgets, is critical
  • Prior experience with marketing and sales tactical coordination
  • Prior experience in project management is preferred
  • Email marketing campaign experience is preferred
  • Digital marketing experience is preferred
  • Trade show experience and budget management are preferred
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Overnight travel may be required up to 10% of time, usually with advance notice
  • Some weekend travel may be required
