Job Description

  • Understand the Fundamentals of State apportionment as it relates to US Multi-National corporation with multiple state filing requirements
    • Assist with calculations of state apportionment
    • High level concept of single vs multi-factor calculations
  • Develop extensive excel skills building out International tax workpapers
    • High level introduction into concepts related to International tax, as it relates to US Multi-national corporations
  • Recognize different entity types; broad level understanding of complex Hexagon org chart and entity relationships, understanding the different types of filing requirements of each.
  • Gain understanding of state tax liabilities with maintenance and tracking of Intergraph and subsidiaries state liability footprint.
  • Participate in notices from variety of state and local jurisdictions, understanding of potential audit questions, improve compliance process and procedures and needed.
  • Introduction into book to tax difference, presentation on tax workpapers and tax returns.
  • Introduction and overview of multi-national tax software, knowledge gain

  • B.S. in Accounting or Finance (planned)
  • Minimum GPA 3.0
  • Must be able to work for or a minimum of 3 months
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook and Excel
