If you're passionate about making a positive impact on the employee lifecycle and genuinely care about the well-being of your colleagues and our vibrant company culture, then this role is for you.
The People Operations position at RedCastle Resources is responsible for maintaining and furthering a people-first culture and keeping our team engaged and in active dialogue through forward-thinking, modern people programs. This is a great growth opportunity for an engaged and driven individual seeking a balance of autonomy and well-resourced mentorship. This role will report to the Controller/Head of People Operations.
The successful candidate will have started their career in HR, with an Associate’s or B.S. degree in a related field, who wants a position with lots of room to grow. You need to have the background and knowledge to jump right in, but attitude and aptitude are highly valued. This role includes a diverse set of day-to-day responsibilities listed below:
Collect, track, and maintain employee data, across all HR systems and workflows.
Be involved with all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, and offboarding.
Monitor and assist with all government onboarding requirements.
Ensure all policies and procedures are current and compliant with local, state, and federal laws - maintaining employee handbooks, workplace posters, and policies.
Oversee benefits administration including open enrollment (medical, dental, life, accident, disability) leave of absence, workers’ compensation, COBRA administration, and various state requirements.
Collaborate with hiring managers and cross-functional stakeholders to build, evolve, and execute processes for scale.
Triage inbound employee inquiries and people-related issues and move to resolution in a timely manner.
Process timesheets, assist with payroll and benefits payments/uploads.
Create and distribute monthly employee newsletter.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Desired Skill Set:
Your friends and colleagues describe you as an empathetic people person with a high EQ.
You have experience in HR, Recruiting, or People Ops at a fast-paced organization and are familiar with HRIS systems.
You have experience with benefits admin, HR practices and employment laws.
You have impeccable attention to detail and the ability to identify gaps and implement process improvements to make systems more streamlined.
You are accountable and are comfortable adjusting to shifting priorities while meeting deadlines — always making sure the job gets done despite any challenges that come your way.
You are a quick and relentless learner who is not afraid to dive into complex projects that require critical thinking. You’re eager for information and enjoy teaching others.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with a diversity of people in a high-touch, personalized manner.
You can maintain and protect confidential data with great discretion, judgment, and the highest standard of honesty and integrity.
For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $48,000 - $62,000. The base salary is just one component of the total compensation package and is determined by a number of factors such as years of experience, expertise, qualifications and more. In addition to base salary, we offer competitive equity packages that play a big part in recognizing you for the huge impact you will have on helping us achieve our mission. Please note, the salary range is a guideline that is subject to change without notice during our recruitment.
RedCastle Resources offers a wide-range of thoughtful and inclusive benefits for this role, including medical, dental, and vision, 4% 401(k) contribution, profit sharing, generous PTO, additional sick days, professional development hours, and wellness benefits, among others.
While we believe competitive compensation and benefits are a critical aspect of you deciding to join us, we do hope you consider why our core values and culture are right for you.
