What You’ll Do

  • You’ll lead and develop a diverse group of professionals in the People Essentials team. Together, you will ensure we offer TomTom'ers a great employee experience through the following areas of expertise Total Rewards, Employment Tax, Partnership Management, Learning & Development and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
  • You’ll oversee the execution of the Business as usual + strategy across the People Team, making sure that actions are taken accordingly.
  • You’ll be a center of expertise, providing leadership and innovative solutions as part of our awesome people experience.
  • You’ll ensure regulatory compliance, governance and cost-effectiveness in addition to the desirability and overall attractiveness of our Business as usual + programs.
  • You will act as the champion for technology and scalable solutions to provide a seamless experience to TomTom’ers.
  • You’ll provide the leadership team with relevant, digestible and actionable insights to drive the People Team’s strategy.
  • You’ll actively contribute to the HR product vision.
  • You’ll promote agile best practices and a “test and learn” culture across the People organization

What You’ll Need

  • 10 or more years working within a HR technical specialism, such as Reward or Learning & Development
  • You’re able to demonstrate experience in leading organizational transformation programs, including change management and process improvements. You’re also able to contribute to HR on a broader scale, improving TomTom’ers’ overall experience.
  • You’re naturally energized to solve customer problems with a diverse group of people. You’ll have an innovative, entrepreneurial and outcome-driven mindset to make this happen.
  • You feel confident in communicating and presenting to team members and management. You also have proven experience in creating meaningful relationships with multiple business stakeholders, middle/senior/executive management, works councils, and external parties, such as consultants and lawyers.
  • You know what’s happening in the HR industry, with a strong knowledge of trends and developments in subjects such as rewards, learning and development, as well as diversity and inclusion.
  • You have an interest in technology to support you as you build people-centered solutions, including experience with digital tools such as Gtmhub, Miro, to mention a couple.
  • Certification in PMO, Six-Sigma, Agile, Scrum are helpful but not essential.
