What is the role?

We are seeking a skilled Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer to join our AOCS team. You will play a crucial role in the development, testing, and implementation of advanced satellite systems for our upcoming missions.

Some of your daily tasks will include:

  • Design, develop, and test GNC algorithms and systems for nanosatellites.
  • Conduct simulations and analysis to assess the performance of GNC systems under various mission scenarios.
  • Collaborate with the spacecraft systems engineering team to integrate GNC solutions into overall satellite designs.
  • Perform hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and validation of GNC algorithms.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of attitude determination and control systems.
  • Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving GNC-related issues during satellite development and operations.
  • Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure the integration of state-of-the-art GNC technologies.

What do we look for?

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in GNC engineering for nanosatellites or similar aerospace applications.
  • Experience in programming languages such as C, C++, or Python. Experience with simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) and analysis of GNC algorithms.
  • Knowledge of sensors, actuators, and hardware components used in satellite GNC systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and concisely.

How to stand out?
