The Opportunity

As the Geospatial Product Manager, you will drive the execution of the geospatial product strategy. Working alongside our commercial and technical teams you will play a critical role in identifying, developing, and executing the product roadmap objectives.

You will be responsible for capturing, prioritising and delivering market requirements across the Landmark Geodata product portfolio and launching products to a diverse customer base. Additionally, you will be researching requirements and working alongside the Lead Product Manager to develop the strategy for the Landmark geospatial platform.

The role will involve:

  • Establishing a clear geospatial product roadmap built using insight from customers, stakeholders, and market research as required.
  • Understanding, developing, and effectively communicating customer requirements within the geospatial market.
  • Defining the product proposition within the Landmark Geodata portfolio at Epic requirement level and partner with the Product Owner to ensure that features and customer requirements are clear.
  • Supporting the Lead Product Manager with commercial agreements including terms and conditions, pricing, and licensing.
  • Working alongside Software Engineers, Product Owners, Business Analysts and Enterprise & Solution Architects to translate market requirements into deliverable products.
  • Work with Marketing and Commercial teams to devise and execute comprehensive Go to market plans.
  • Understanding the competitive landscape and maintain close relationships and key strategic customers.

About You

To be successful as the Geospatial Product Manager you will be able to build strong relationships with customer groups and colleagues. You will be a strong communicator with the ability to portray complex problems into easy-to-understand requirements and statements that you are able to present to a variety of stakeholders. You will have experience with market research and competitor analysis, along with strong time management.

You will also have/be:

  • Relevant Qualification or equivalent experience
  • Geospatial data management/GIS experience
  • Product Management training
  • Experience of managing digital products in the property or geospatial sector
  • Ability to run focus groups and facilitate requirements among a range of disparate customers.
  • Strong influencing skills: ability to motivate without organisational authority.
  • Experience of managing go to market campaigns and promoting both internally and externally.
