Intro And Job Overview

Precisely’s Summer Internship Program is a paid, part-time opportunity for undergraduate students actively enrolled in university. This is an 8-week program that begins June 10th and concludes August 2nd. This opportunity is 100% remote preferably located in the eastern time zone. The FP&A Intern will work closely with the finance team in forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and financial analysis (trended, actuals vs budget/vs forecast, product profitability).

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Generate and analyze financial data, using a variety of systems to recommend profitable business strategies to Precisely.
  • Monitor actual business results vs. budget, trends, and forecasts.
  • Assist in day-to-day tasks such as process improvements, financial close, systems enhancements, product profitability, and more.
  • Assist in ad hoc reporting and analysis for various areas of the business including Engineering, Cloud and Customer Support.

Requirements And Qualifications

  • Ability to analyze large sets of data, highlighting important trends and summarizing results for key stakeholders.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, with strong excel skills.
  • A process optimization mindset, with the ability to identify areas of change and drive implementation of solutions.
  • High-level of integrity along with the ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Team player, comfortable operating within a dynamic, complex organizational structure and able to be flexible and collaborate with teams on different projects.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Highly motivated and eager to develop finance and business skills through hands-on experience.
