Because of our growth, we are seeking an experienced Finance & Accounting Intern in the Dayton, OH area.

Join us for an internship experience that offers real-world project involvement within a supportive environment alongside ample opportunities for professional and personal growth specific to our community of students. At this time, we are seeking a Finance & Accounting Intern for the summer semester (May/June- August). This position would be a full-time internship that can be remote or hybrid.

The Finance & Accounting Intern will work alongside the Woolpert finance and accounting team on various projects and will assist in daily financial processes covering:

  • Analytical & project support
  • Report preparation
  • Reconciliation
  • Customer service


Anticipated Projects and Learning Opportunities:

  • Work as part of the integrated Finance and Accounting team
  • Gain real-world experience working alongside the accounts receivable & finance transformation team
  • Assisting with daily accounting processes and ongoing finance transformation projects

  • Be enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university, preferably with at least sophomore status
  • Be studying Accounting or Finance
  • Be an investigative learner, ask lots of questions and have the curiosity to learn more
  • Have a general understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Function well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Have exceptional multitasking and time management skills
