Who We Are

We are a start-up based out of Bengaluru amp; Delhi NCR. We are engaged in development of next generation missions and technologies (NGMamp;T) towards future warfare needs of the Indian defence forces. It is undertaking research towards enhancing persistence and autonomy for unmanned vehicles and robotic swarms. NRT’s product development portfolio includes a solar power stratospheric high altitude pseudo satellite (HAPS) unmanned platform and an air/ground launched stand-off autonomous system.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership to the EPS team for power electronics design, and system sizing - Solar array, Battery module for Energy balance in a battery powered aircraft.
  • Formulate/Review the architecture and system-level requirements.
  • Synthesize/Review analysis (FMECA, simulations, modeling, etc.) on new architectures/products and finalize the EPS design.
  • Ensure design and development meets certification standards amp; requirements.
  • Conducts design/documents/test-plan reviews.
  • Establish scope and framework for standardization of integration processes and common tools identification. Prepare associated documentation for company records and design reviews.
  • Creates and updates Development plans, Yearly plans, Gantt charts for track of progress

Must Have Skills

  • Documented experience of complete Product Development Lifecycle for Power Electronics based product design(from designing to rectifying after sales field issues) - e.g. Grid Connected Inverters, PFC based isolated EV Battery Chargers, design and control of Motor Drives (BLDC, PMSM).
  • Good hold over design of Magnetic components in Power Electronics
  • Knowledge of controllers for Power Electronic circuits (Type 2, Type 3, PR compensators) and its relation with system stability.
  • Working knowledge of environmental impact on power electronics and electrical system Practical knowledge in design for system reliability
  • Working knowledge of Aerospace standards for electrical power system design
  • Good hold over Embedded C language

Desired Skills

  • Ph.D. (Electrical Engineering) with upto 4-5 years of industrial experience or
  • Masters(Electrical/Electronics Engineering) with 10 years experience.
  • Experience in Battery Management Systems with reputed manufacturers, or Experience in Inverter/Converter design with reputed manufacturers.
  • Experience in the Aerospace and EV fields is highly preferred

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical, Electronics.
  • 06-10 years in hands-on design work, integration and testing of aircraft systems.
