Job Description

CGG is currently expanding his external infrastructure management team and we are looking for our Data Centre Manager with experience in people leadership, a strong technical understanding of IT operations, and the drive and vision to take Data Center Operations into the future.

Based in Massy, you will play a vital role in managing the Services delivered for our external clients, respond to Client’s expectations, operate all the DC and IT Infrastructure, computer systems, manage the Teams in charge of the support and Integration of our Client’s environments and follow equipment maintenance and inventory topics.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Managing and handling all services delivered to our clients hosted in the Data Centres under your responsibility, including :
  • Management of Incidents, Problems and Change Controls , escalation and crisis management,
  • Planning for any probable disruptions, problems, and emergency,
  • Supervising and recording maintenance, installation, and updates of data centre servers,
  • Managing and handling all Data Centre infrastructure operated by the Data Centre Facility Teams,
  • Managing the Client’s Infrastructure integration projects in total collaboration with the Service Delivery Manager,
  • Managing and handling all types of data in the centre, whether it comes from internal or external stakeholders (including backup strategy and implementation),
  • Upholding the integrity of the data, including its security, confidentiality, and availability,
  • Managing the Client’s Infrastructure integration projects in our Data Centre in coordination with the HPC Service Delivery Manager,
  • Validating and deploying the production standards with change management processes in coordination with the Architect Group,
  • Accountable for all Datacentre compliances (e.g,. ISO27001) and power effectiveness (e.g., PUE, WUE, ESG…),
  • Leading and developing the data centre teams,


  • Degree in any of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems…,
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in relevant fields (DC management) and leading IT teams,
  • Strong understanding of Data Centre Infrastructure and good Hardware and HPC Technologies Knowledge,
  • Well-organized, good decision-maker, client oriented and professional approach to work with attention to detail being key. A continual service improvement, growth mindset is a must.
  • Strong communication skills and analytical mindset,
  • Comfortable with budget control, P&L and asset lifecycle management,
  • Fluent in French and English,
  • ITIL Foundation level certification desired,
