The Mission

As Customer Success Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring our customers' satisfaction by providing exceptional support and building strong relationships. You will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, helping them navigate through our Wildfire Detection and Monitoring Solution, addressing their concerns, and driving adoption and retention. You will work at the intersection between customer service, sales and product development supporting and managing relationships with our customers, partners and other stakeholders globally.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers - (inter)governmental institutions, corporates and NGOs. Understand their unique needs, goals, and challenges to shape our development and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Guide customers through the onboarding process and provide training sessions to educate customers on the features, functionalities, and best practices of our solution.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, concerns, and technical issues. Promptly respond to customer inquiries and provide timely resolutions to problems, coordinating with internal teams as necessary.
  • Proactively reach out to customers to ensure their ongoing satisfaction, assess their needs, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Gather feedback from customers to gain insights into their experiences and requirements. Advocate for customers' needs within the organization, working closely with product management and development teams to drive product enhancements and improvements.
  • Create and maintain customer-facing documentation, including FAQs, knowledge base articles, and best practice guides.
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events as well as visit customers.

Relevant Skills

At OroraTech, we value a creative mindset and a go-getter attitude. Hard skills can always be learned. That being said, we are searching for someone with:

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in key account management, customer support, sales, or a related field
  • Fluent in German and English + other language skills (Spanish or Portuguese)
  • GIS / remote sensing or wildfire / firefighting experience or a related field
  • Motivation and commitment
  • An entrepreneurial spirit
  • Enthusiasm to learn about Wildfires, Satellite technology, and data analysis
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to interact successfully across cultures
  • Willingness and ability to travel globally
