Customer Service Specialist

We seek a Customer Service Specialist to join our Customer Services team in Shibuya, Tokyo. Pix4D develops photogrammetry software and products that empower professionals worldwide to capture, process, edit and assess their own maps and 3D models.

This role requires you to become an expert on our Pix4D products and provide technical support to customers and partners. You will solve related issues with data acquisition, processing and post-processing. The ideal candidate has a background in geomatics/photogrammetry, excellent communication and people skills, as well an interest and desire to evolve in a fast-growing technology company.


  • Master Pix4D's products and solutions and stay up to date on improvements
  • Provide client support and resolve technical issues via a wide range of communication channels, including a ticketing system (i.e. Zendesk), phone, Community (Forum)
  • Create, update, translate and maintain Documentation articles as well as user guides in English and Japanese as required
  • Help grow our Community
  • Encourage seamless communication between the development team and the end-user by sharing customer experiences and staying up to date with the state of the product's development
  • Provide training (online and in person)
  • Help with product and documentation translations
  • Work closely with other Support experts in Berlin, Denver, Lausanne, Madrid, Shanghai, Tokyo
  • Propose and implement initiatives that improve the customer experience and help the team scale up


  • Proven experience and knowledge in the field of geomatics / photogrammetry / mapping or similar
  • Customer-oriented, empathetic, and caring about solving user problems
  • Experience with Pix4D products is a strong advantage
  • Knowledge of drones/drone mapping is a strong advantage
  • Experience with radiometry, multispectral and thermal imagery is an advantage
  • Knowledge of HTML, Python or other programming language is an advantage
  • Experience with Support is an advantage
  • Proficient English and Japanese language skills required; Korean, Chinese or other language is a strong advantage
  • Independent and well-organized team player
  • Flexible and open-minded attitude and ability to feel at home in a fast-paced and growing international environment
  • Legally authorised to work in Japan required
