Job Description

We are looking for a talented Compensation and International Mobility Manager to join our HR team based in Massy, France.

Reporting to the Group Compensation Director, the successful candidate will engage with them to identify and solve compensation-related challenges, as well as guide and facilitate conversations on how CGG’s global compensation programs can drive and support the company’s short and long-term success. The role offers a good mix of hands-on, operational and design experience as well as a well-developed consultative approach to partnering with colleagues.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Regional Compensation Partner: Management of all the compensation topics for the EAME region in close collaboration with local HR and business managers (salary review, pricing, bonus plan design, support on LTI distribution, ad hoc compensation projects like bonus review or new bonus scheme creation).
  • Corporate compensation: Work in close collaboration with the Group Compensation Director and CHRO on all the corporate compensation topics:
  • Executive compensation/governance: preparation of Appointment, Remuneration and Governance Committee (ARGC), participation to the writing of the URD, CEO/ELT benchmarking, participation to discussion with Proxy agencies, LTI authorization request to the General Meeting
  • Participation to the group annual compensation cycles: yearly LTI plan design, salary review budget definition, supervision of the bonus calculation
  • International Mobility: management of the IM topics for the EAME region and strong support to other regions:
  • Short-term and long-term assignments: cost simulation, feasibility of the request, coordination of different processes with different internal and external stakeholders (immigration, tax, payroll, housing, etc)
  • Management of a Global employment company (GEC)

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in relevant field required. Master's degree is a plus.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to guide stakeholders as the subject matter expert
  • European compensation experience (5+ years minimum)
  • Familiarity with labor legislation in the EU
  • Experience working with job architecture
  • Must be fluent in French and English

Preference Requirements (nice To Have)

  • Experience working with Workday
  • Experience managing people
  • Global compensation experience
