Wilson & Company Is Looking For a Civil Engineering Intern Focused On Transportation Systems Engineering To Join Our Phoenix Office. As An Intern In Our Office

  • You will perform hands-on work to apply your classroom experience to real-world projects and help you envision your future career.
  • You’ll be an active member of our team, working for our clients on projects with our most experienced engineers.

  • You will solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate with partners to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.

This is a year-round paid opportunity that could lead to full-time employment upon graduation!

Required Skills

  • Working knowledge of GIS-based programs and/or traffic operations software (such as Synchro/HCS/or VISSIM) is a plus, but not necessary. You will receive significant hands-on and tutorial training on a number of these as an employee.
  • Highly responsible and dependable.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Positive attitude and an impeccable work ethic.
  • Ability to work with a team under the direct supervision of a Project Engineer.

Required Experience

  • Civil engineering student with an interest in Transportation Systems Engineering.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, primarily Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Ability to commute to/from school to the office, and work in an office environment. No remote work anticipated.
  • Capacity to manage and maintain a sustainable balance between school, internship, and personal demands.

Hourly Earnings: $19.00 - $22.00
