The Weather Company’s (TWCo) advertising sales division, uses the world’s leading artificial intelligence (AI) technology to unlock data and insights and help marketers make better decisions. We offer trusted, insight-driven media and data solutions that can be deployed across a brand’s entire marketing strategy to drive results.

The Weather Company is seeking a Manager to join our Client Services team. This management role will focus on leading a team of Account Managers as they work to launch, manage, and upsell digital advertising campaigns. This is a manager role that will focus on revenue, career pathing and process improvement; there may be instances where this role may take ownership of an account or small number of accounts.

In this role, you will partner with the sales, operations, finance, legal and other internal business partners to ensure our advertiser campaigns launch on time and deliver in full and that the team is supported to work through any internal or external blockers. You will demonstrate deep product and process knowledge, drive accountability and rigor within the Account Management team and ensure the team is focused on maximizing value for our advertising partners (i.e., maximizing delivery, performance and renewals). This role will manage team members in-office or in other locations and will report directly to the Head of Client Services.

The Impact You'll Make

  • Develop strong, collaborative partnerships with Sales leaders and Account Executives to ensure a deep understanding of market dynamics, as well as client and team needs
  • Manage team and individual performance through formal and informal coaching
  • Help to shape a clear career path for each team member by providing direct and timely feedback on performance
  • Collaborate with fellow managers and their teams to (i) identify roadblocks, (ii) develop and implement scalable solutions, and (iii) create and instill best practices across the revenue organization
  • Drive adoption of products, tools, processes, and standards across team
  • Help leadership synthesize team needs and prioritize internal resources against objectives
  • Learn and understand the full capabilities of our ad products, tools, and systems in order to effectively guide team on campaign management and support with troubleshooting
  • Lead the management of our Custom Audience curation and organization
  • Aggregate and cascade weekly campaign booking (i.e., deal closings) progress to Sales and Executive leadership

What You've Accomplished

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience managing digital advertising campaigns with a strong history of client and agency engagement
  • 2-4 years of management experience preferred; however, a passion for leading and a demonstrated ability of coaching/mentoring are a must
  • High level of organization and comfort operating within a dynamic, evolving environment
  • Ability to manage large customer relationships and manage through conflict
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, attention to detail, ability to anticipate questions before they arise and a bias for proactively resolving issues
  • Must have strong understanding of digital marketplace and of the competitive landscape in which we operate
  • Must be a solutions oriented change agent that asks questions, seeks to understand, and strives to help improve the business in every way possible
  • Light travel anticipated to visit direct reports in other offices/locations
  • BA/BS Degree
