BERMELLO AJAMIL & PARTNERS, a Woolpert Company (BA) is looking for full-time Architectural Designers for its Coral Gables, FL office who are looking to join a creative and collaborative team. Ideal candidates have 5 or more years of experience and are able to apply sound and diverse knowledge of architectural principles and practices to a broad array of assignments and building types. In addition, candidates are able to translate conceptual ideas into detailed plans and construction documents.


  • Responsible for overall project design.
  • Complete architectural assignments with little supervision.
  • Prepare project graphic presentations and present them to clients.
  • Review completed reports, plans, estimates, and calculations.
  • Prepare documentation for regulatory submissions.
  • Prepare construction documents.
  • Organize and maintain project record information and drawings.
  • Coordinate with clients, project consultants, and engineers.


  • 5 – 10+ years of experience in Architecture and Architectural Design.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture required; Master’s Degree a plus.
  • State of Florida Professional Architectural Registration a plus.
  • Excellent design skills.
  • Ability to lead a design team.
  • Ability to work directly with Principals and Project Managers and follow their lead
  • Must be self-motivated to meet deadlines and improve process and deliverables.
  • Excellent communication skills are required.
  • Must be proficient in AutoCAD, REVIT and SKETCHUP
  • Advanced-level competency in Microsoft Office Suite
