Google Maps now allows sending directions from computer to app

How often do you search for a place on your computer first and do it again on a smartphone in a car? I do it all the time and frankly speaking it’s annoying. Finally Google decided to do something about it and it enabled a new feature called “send directions”.

It’s very simple. You open up Google.com on your computer and type “Send Directions” in the search box. Than you simple type in your destination and select a device connected to your gmail account which you want to send it to. Now when you unlock your phone, it will automatically open Google Maps with the directions loaded. Not too shabby.

For now it works only on Chrome and Android OS in US but we hope that Google with roll it out globally soon!
