Intro And Job Overview As a Senior Manager, Software Development, You will be responsible for helping to lead development of Precisely’s Data Integration SaaS solution as part of the Data Integrity Suite. You will lead a team of software engineers to produce high quality and feature rich solutions in a fast-paced multi-geographic environment. Responsibilities And Duties Be both highly technical and an effective people manager. Participate in technical design & delivery. Ensure that commitments are met on time and with the expected level of quality. Ensure scrum teams are following standard development processes. Facilitate cross-team discussions and decisions with other functions such as PM, QA, UI, UX, and Doc. Mentor and coach team members to help improve both individuals and teams. Communicate the vision and goals of the organization. Foster an environment of continuous growth and improvement. Help provide guidance and direction when multiple demands are present. Requirements And Qualifications 7+ years of Software Engineering work experience, including hands-on technical management, building enterprise web-based Software Solutions and Cloud engineering. 3+ years of experience in Manageing teams in managerial position. Demonstrated expertise in Java/J2EE and microservices architecture. Thorough knowledge of cloud-native development in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP). Experience consuming REST APIs in building scalable, modern web applications. Hands-on experience with databases like Oracle and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB. Exposure to cloud native technologies like Docker, Kubernetes and microservices architecture. Good knowledge of CI/CD processes and knowledge of JIRA, Jenkins, GIT, Gradle, Maven and Artifactory. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse and distributed product teams in an agile environment. Position Summary The Strategic Account Executive will help achieve maximum sales profitability, market penetration and growth across the DACH region. This will be done by effectively prospecting to new target accounts and building existing accounts to meet Precisely’s rapid growth plans and expand our global presence as leaders in Data Integrity. Essential Functions And Responsibilities Learn, understand and convey Precisely’s Automate products capabilities and benefits. Communicate Precisely’s value proposition to drive insightful client engagements across various business functions. Drive pipeline growth through effective prospecting and lead generation activities. Build and manage all stages of sales pipeline to consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual targets (prospecting through to deal closing). Develop and execute actions and business plans to generate revenue for new business across assigned territory. Plan, execute and document sales steps utilising Precisely’s CRM daily. Provide accurate forecasting and reporting to Sales leaders. Work closely with Precisely’s Pre-sales and Professional Services teams to create compelling business propositions based on Precisely solutions. Contribute to market strategy by monitoring market data, competitive products and prospect feedback. Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience can be accepted in place of degree. 5+ years of sales experience of enterprise business software solutions, with a history of exceeding targets. SAP knowledge/experience required German native and fluency in English Excellent selling skills and the ability to close business, especially enterprise business software solutions (SAP). Ability to build relationships at all levels with prospects, customers, partners and within Precisely. Self-starter with strong planning, technical and administrative proficiencies. Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills. Strong analytical, problem solving, and time management skills. Good business maturity, negotiating and decision-making skills. Basic to intermediate technical understanding of information communication and technology concepts and architecture. Ability to accurately prioritize and manage time/resources for maximum efficiency and productivity.
